Glad we didn't mortgage the future on anything crazy at the deadline, because we're not real contenders this year.

Other teams in the AL addressed weaknesses this offseason. We added more power.

In no way is that a criticism/blame of Stanton, but this wasn't a great offseason.

At this rate, The Red Sox could probably trade for Jason Vargas and he’d throw a shutout.

It’s amongst comical how they are incapable of doing anything wrong.

The Indians are built for the playoffs. These Red Sox IMO are built for the regular season.

Cleveland went to game 7 of the World Series 2 years ago, these Red Sox have 1 playoff win in the last 5 years.

Eovaldi is proof that apparently the Red Sox this season can sign anyone and they immediately play like an All Star.

If he went to Oakland, I doubt he’d pitch like THIS.

Anything can happen in the randomly unpredictable baseball playoffs. This isn't basketball.

Last year's Indians had everything you could want, but look what happened to them.

It's a little like hockey- the best team doesn't always win.

Look at the Capitals- they had by Caps standards a decent regular season, but did what seemingly better teams couldn't in the postseason.

ITT: The team does bad, you can't bring up the manager because the team sucked. The team does good, you can't bring up the manager because the team won. He can never do anything wrong.

Maybe next time hire a guy who's managed a game in his life. There will be less complaining.

Meh. This team could win the WS and you'd still complain and deny it because their AVG with RISP was too low or something.

They won't win the WS because their AVG with RISP was too low or something.

This team has a ghastly approach at the plate and it's more pronounced this year. We fired Girardi for less experienced Girardi. None of our dumb habits have changed.
