I don’t trust anyone on the Red Sox’s pitching staff come October.

And Sox fans would say the exact smae thing about our staff...remember Severino in the wild card game vs minneosta. I sure know I 'd take Chris Sale over Sevy or anyone we have.

Sale hasn't really pitched enough in the post season to say anything one way or the other. He sucked last year but that was over like 6 innings.

The rest of their staff is a different story but these things can change in a second save maybe Price who has a long (relative) history of sucking.

in4 machine's the lineup is a bigger issue than the staff because can't 'manufacture runs'.
Well the high strikeout rate from this lineup is definitely issue. Recent teams that have won the WS were capable of finding different ways to score runs. This team is indeed too reliant on the homerun ball. Too much boom or bust. You face a good starter and the lineup can go into a lull.

However, the starting rotation is a massive problem

I'm pretty sure we lead the world in Sac flys this year which is like the epitome of small ball scoring. If you face a good starter, chances are that he'll limit any lineup. This isn't exclusive to the Yankees.

The rotation is a major issue though. This should have been more seriously addressed already but we've discussed this a ton already.

As the sun rises and as the sun sets so it is.

I felt like they thought he had arm fatigue as recent as yesterday and he'd be good to go soon.

Inb4 they report in a week that he was misdiagnosed and has actually been playing this entire season with ground beef chunks for internal organs.

Im convinced Luis is pitching hurt/has a tired arm.His velocity and command just isnt there.

Stick a fork in this team. They are so done its not even funny. Severino has lost it and he was the only starter we had.

No pitching, goodnight on this season

Torres has just been flat out awful lately. I dont care about his Homeruns. He has lost his focus. Doesnt look like he showed up to play

Please spare me. A slump? No it has nothing to do with a slump. It is his lazy play, his mental mistakes, and him looking too comfortable. Playing like his job is 100% secure. A benching needs to bring him down to earth
