If Glasnow cuts on his free passes he can be a very good #2. His stuff is really good.

His change was well below average when he was starting games. Since moving to the pen, he's gotten away with 2 pitches but he'll need that change to be a plus pitch if he's ever gonna be a front line starter.

The problem is Glasnow has to cut down his walk rate A LOT. Just a small improvement won't do it. Since he came into the league he's thrown 140 innings. In that time frame he has the number 1 worst BB% of any MLB pitcher who has thrown that many innings. And it hasn't gotten any better this year in the pen.

His change is inconsistent. It's probably about an average pitch which you can more than get away with. Wildness is what's stopping him from reaching his upside.

19-1

Appropriate that the Mets are facing Washington because they have a lot in common with a well known Washington sports franchise.

The Washington Generals.

It was more than just command. The difference in velo from his FB and deception wasn't there (5 mph difference) and he didn't really throw it because he wasn't comfortable with it. He has 152 career K's and only 6 have come via way of change.

I'm sure Tampa will try him as a starter so we'll see how that goes...he'll need that if he's gonna turn a lineup over more than one time.

I'm still attempting to figure out trading for ARcher using Meadows and Glasnow because last year they traded Cole for Moran and Musgrove. lol.

It's called Neal Huntington is a moron. If not backing off Gleyber Torres for Gerrit Cole didn't say enough, this whole full circle thing from Cole to Archer will speak volumes.

Guy is an absolute clown. I'd want his head paraded on a bat around Pittsburgh if I was a pirates fan.

Torres was never part of discussion. Yankees clearly made it known he was untouchable.

This-Never-happened.

It wasn’t even seriously discussed. Just because some journalist said it doesn’t make it true.

You’re dead to me.
I was never huge on baseball. When the expos moved to Washington, figured an interesting way to get into the sport would be to pick 'em and run with it. Worked for a couple of seasons. Then the Caps started beating us in the playoffs and I cut all ties to DC fandom. Now I just don't care about baseball again :dunno:

Doesnt get much worse than this. Sonny Gray is terrible.

And for the love of all that is holy why in God’s name is Shane Robinson on the Major League roster? Does he have naked photos of someone. This guy is garbage

Thanks for reminding us we can't beat the Oreos.

Gleyber costs another run
