They can have any 4 prospects in the minors and a high ceiling lower level guy as a 5th piece.

I'd do Frazier, Sheff, Drury and some other pitcher like Tate, Swanson, Stephan, etc.

Basically comes down to Frazier and Sheff for Snell imo. Drury isn't needed and we have way too many pitching prospects

I'm a huge believer in Snell though. I think he can be a small rung below a prime Kershaw.

I just don't like him enough to deal multiple top prospects. This is not DeGrom.

That offer doesnt get Degrom even if he wasnt on the Mets. Degrom would get more than Sale

Not in the division. Not comfortable at all giving a competitor that package. I would take an inferior pitcher from the NL if it came down to that.

I mean yeah I agree with you, but now is the time to make the move. Hes not even arbitration eligible until 2020 and is controlled through 2023.

Guy makes like 500K this year. They could add him and another expiring arm while staying under the luxury tax still.

I dont think it would cost all 3 of those prospects. Likely 2 of the 3 and may be a player like Drury and that'd be a good move. Kid has some sick stuff. Also better then moving for a pitcher like DeGrom.
