Save us from Sonny, deGrom.

I'd rather the team just go out and get the best pitcher on the market in DeGrom. Hamels isn't going to be a difference maker - he's better than CC but not by much.

I think I'd take CC over him at this point. too many HRs for my liking, CC gets so much soft contact that usually doesn't hurt you.

As much as I want Cashman to make a deal yesterday, I understand what a tough spot he's in. Most teams are going to come in with a "Torres or we hang up" mentality, and because we're the Yankees, we'll get our balls busted over it. Basically, everyone's gonna pull a Pittsburgh.

Can't wait for DeGrom, MadBum, and Snell to go to competitors for pennies on the dollar.
