There are positional players I'd trade Severino for. In the right situation.

Hicks gonna hit 20+ drive in 70+ with GG defense and were gonna hate him over 50% of the time lol.

we've literally come very very close to hitting the double digit mark in HRs tonight.. 6 + very deep fly outs

With where the Yankees are right now, the only player I'm trading Severino for is Mike Trout. How long has it taken the Yankees to develop a legitimate ace that has the right mentality for New York? Completely overpowering but can get deep into games because he doesn't constantly hunt for the strikeout. Has turned into one of the biggest leaders on this team - the perfect example of this is when he went right up to Torres in the dugout and gave him a pat on the rear end after an error during one of his starts. There's really no aspect of his game not to love honestly. He can even pitch well no matter who's behind the plate catching.

As much as I want Cashman to make a deal yesterday, I understand what a tough spot he's in. Most teams are going to come in with a "Torres or we hang up" mentality, and because we're the Yankees, we'll get our balls busted over it. Basically, everyone's gonna pull a Pittsburgh.

Can't wait for DeGrom, MadBum, and Snell to go to competitors for pennies on the dollar.
I think Andujar is a good starter for a controlled ace, with the season he's having.
