Yankees should really pursue Darvish in off season (if not at the trade deadline if TX is out of it).. He looks all the way back from TJS.
I guess you'd consider this good for Granderson.
I'm pretty sure the Mets are trying to trade showcase now which is why you may see Granderson Cabrera Duda Bruce and Reyes playing virtually every game and Conforto for the next 3 weeks may be sitting more than he should be.
I'm hoping we pull a 2016 Yankees. Trade the bad players who TC likes, and then make a run.
That way we recoup assets, but also have a preferable lineup, and have a chance to win. I'm not counting us out yet. Two nice wins the last two games. We need to make a run before the ASG. Get back to around .500, still sell, and then hope we can have a chance to make the playoffs.
So the Astros want deGrom? Never happen but it costs 1 young stud on ML roster and two blue chip prospects and that might not be enough
I listened to the game on the radio today, but it sounded like Montero had some really nice stuff working. They made it seem like he had positive body language too, which is good for him to help build his confidence
Castro injured..
Tyler wade called up.

I have had enough of Tyler "WILD THING" Clippard. If I wanted inconsistency on the mound, I would warm up Rickey Vaughn.
Kudos to Clipper getting out of it, but Girardi got extremely lucky once again. It's infuriating.
Binder Joe strikes again, he has zero capacity for creativity and having a feel for how players are playing. He simply goes by the book and whatever it says to do, he does. He doesn't use his brain.
Looking far ahead, but we need to get Francona to manage the team in the near future.
It was the 7-8-9 hitters of a horrible lineup. Maybe Dellin should remove his head from out of his you know what. First he's rusty, now he's overworked throwing 25 pitches the last two nights.
Don't get me wrong, Girardi is horrendous but Dellin needed to show something tonight. Well, he sure showed something I guess.
The Mets are not trading deGrom ... stop! That would be idiotic.
