No, only last year it was because he had a HORRIBLE year on the road. Check out his 2017 numbers.

Last year, he hit .212 on the road (.140 down from his home avg, .352) and 18 HR and 45 RBI’s as opposed to 9 HR and 22 RBI’s.

That’s an abnormality.

Machado’s career OPS at home is .887, on the road it’s .761, a difference of .126. If Arenado’s and LeMahieu’s drops of over .200 are not concerning to you whatsoever, that’s a big problem.

Gray may suck at Yankee Stadium, but he was a very good pitcher on the road. My bet is he rebounds with the Reds. He's still a good pitcher.

Sad thing is I tried so hard to do it. Me and all my buddies. We had a few good runs but never really close. It was always shit like Blanka being able to do his electrocute twice in two seconds, or guys with "charge back, then forward + punch" who would do the move while walking towards you. Stuff that shouldn't be possible based on the moves list.

It was actually only a couple years ago my wife made me get rid of the two huge, ancient boxes of EGM, Game Pro, Nintendo Power, and other magazines I had. Sad day.

Depends on how you look at the trade, but Long, 40th pick and another prospect are better assets to have than Mateo (can't hit, bad season), Kaprielian (walking band-aid) and Fowler (bless his soul, but that knee injury was devastating).

I don't know about that comp. Like MLB Pipeline for instance had Alonso #58 and Long nowhere to be found. long seems to be a fine prospect but I don't think he's quite to the level of Alonso. And Alonso isn't even a blue chip guy or anything. There's also the fact that Alonso is either the 1 or 2 prospect in a weak system, so the Mets moving him would be much more notable than the Reds moving Long, who I have seen anywhere from 5-10, from their deep, top-third system.
