If we bring back CC i will lose my mind. Happ, Corbin, Keuchel, Kluber. 3 of those 4 should be brought in

Don't want Keuchel. Will be overpaid and he's also been declining for a 3rd straight season.

Time for Cashman to redeem himself. This is the entire point in having a deep farm, to pounce when opportunity presents itself. Can't horde everybody.

I'm usually not one to bang on about character and all that, but I would want absolutely nothing to do with harper or machado. They're both such dickheads.

Thankfully I'm a Mets fan, so I don't have to worry about shelling out big contracts.

Seattle tearing it down.

Mets can look at Kyle Seager. Him and Frazier platoon at 3rd. Another lefty bat who hits for power.

Just going to point out that teams who win have guys like Seager not playing everyday.

Odd that Seattle is tearing it down. They were decent enough last year.

They were the *Insert Hockey Team with terrible Corsi and High PDO who won a lot of games* of Baseball last year.

677 runs, 711 allowed. Pythag says they "should have been" 77-85 instead of 89-73. They were the same mediocre Mariners.

The Yankees need to be all in. They were embarrassed and taunted by the Red Sox. Cashman and company should have free reign to establish the team to win a championship. Boston spent big, so can we while still having a lot of homegrown guys. My list of moves to make:

Sign Corbin
Sign Happ
Trade Andujar in a package for Kluber
Sign Machado
Sign Hechevarria
Sign Miller
Sign Britton
Sign DRob if theres room
Trade Gray

Hicks CF
Judge RF
Machado 3B/SS
Sanchez C
Bird/Voit 1B
Stanton DH
Torres 2B
Hechevarria SS/3B
Gardner LF

Kluber
Severino
Tanaka
Corbin
Happ

German
Green
Miller
Britton
DRob
Betances
Chapman

May go all out and trade Hicks and/or include him in Kluber deal and sign Harper too. Screw it. Get another lefty bat. Bird having a lefty bat is probably giving him one last shot here. Problem with that lineup is it is all righties other than Gardner and Hicks (S) until Didi comes back. Its why I lean towards Harper over Machado. Another direction would be sign Harper and Murphy and shift Torres to SS with Hech at 3B until Didi healthy. When Didi is healthy that could be a problem.

Get me kluber and Paxton of those guys.

Empty that farm cash
Cant prospect hug much longer. Although, depending on how free agency goes, I’d like to hold onto both Frazier and Florial. Torres off limits. Everyone else on the table including Sheffield and Andujar

All of those guys+everyone else should be available other than Torres.

Florial, Frazier, Andujar, Sheff, Molina, That guy in the GCL that no one knows about yet, etc.

I get it. I would be more open to dealing the OF prospects if we were getting Harper. Because I think we should sell on Hicks right now. His value is decently high as a switch hitting solid defensive OF, he is nearing 30 and will be due for a new contract either next season or the one after it

Cashman's poor record of identifying the correct starting pitchers to acquire is concerning. Hopefully he's learned from his mistakes.
