Best case scenario for me would be trading Marner. I look at a team like St. Louis who I think would be very much interested in him, as long as he extends. I’m looking at Kyrou and Dvorsky.

That's becoming just pathetic right here,
Marner is just leafs goal, pts leader, he just get a pts on 67% of every leafs goal since Matthews injury and you still find something to trash talk about hus game...

Thoughts on this chart? None of you responded to it. I think it's very interesting data.

Sample size for both years is essentially 50% of time with and without Marner on Matthews line = Big sample size.

This data indicates Marner actually brought Matthews production down (quite substantially too).

He's going to unironically walk into negotiations asking for $13m a year, despite disappearing when the team's actual star was out injured.
Wouldn’t say he disappeared he can only do so much he’s even scored goals but without goal scorers to play with his game doesn’t look as good

You do know that since Matthews has been out Nylander also has zero 5 v 5 points as well. It was just intentionally left out by antroprovsky: this team sucks 5 on 5. They sucked 5 on 5 with Matthews too.

3 players had one 5 v 5 point. Now 6 do after tonight’s goal. One 5 v 5 point from Tavares, Marner, Nylander and Rielly combined. It’s not all on Marner.

I agree there is no need to bring Matthews, Domi, Nylander into a Little m discussion to find fault.

He had 1 shot on net last night, in a shutout.

No need to mention anyone else to try and deflect from that.

He's his own man. Good some nights and bad on others. As Marner goes, so go the Leafs.
