Son of former Panther/Flame Marcus, has Canadian citizenship through being born in Calgary when Marcus played for the Flames.

Nifty two-way player with a fairly well-rounded game. Decent skill level, good skating and plays a gritty game. Will also be able to fill his frame plenty more.

When it comes to the forwards I'd say currently he's in a group with Gästrin, Skarby, & Novotny under Ekberg, Frondell, Ihs Wozniak, & Klingsell.

We'll see how this season shakes out.

He was my favorite of the Swedish forwards. I hope they keep him at center. He made a few nice defensive plays that made me take note. When was the last smaller skilled first round right shot center from Sweden? It’s been a little while. I think he could be that.

I was a big fan of his dad in Calgary and can see Eric follow the path of being a dynamic 3rd line centre. Heck I’ll even go out on a limb and say that he could be a very late first rounder with a good season in Djurgarden, seeing as teams were scrambling to take profiles such as Cole Beaudoin and Sam O’Reilly in the 20s this past year.
