A frustrating era. The Flyers were right there towards the top but unlike Colorado, Detroit, New Jersey, & Dallas they never came away with a cup.

JS Giguere was on fire that playoffs, wish we had some analytics back then to see the extent of it.

Weird team though, they had two top tier talents in Kariya & Selanne so not like a rag tag to the fullest like the 96 Florida team. But in the end probably didn’t have as much depth as NJ who were one of the deeper organizations of that era.
