f***ing hate that team
Honestly opening season after the shooting we had, it was a fun ride and I was along for it (second team, of course)

Around March of that year, all of the people who teased me for playing and watching hockey suddenly knew more about the sport than Scotty Bowman, and I was done. I couldn’t tolerate it anymore. Most uneducated, entitled and whiny fans in the world

This might be the worst goaltending I can remember in the playoffs.
Brossoit was awful, flopping like a dying fish.
I mean Edmonton is an offensive machine, but . . .

How does the NHL have 1 game Friday and Saturday night? And tonight is a west coast matchup. But 3 games on Sunday. They’re so bad at this.

I also like how one of those Sundays games has a euro friendly pick drop time, not like the Saturday one. Of course the Sunday somehow is the day of US Formula 1 Grand Prix so …… oh well

The good goaltenders have mostly been blasted out of the playoffs thanks to brute-force scoring

Skinner tends goal with a lucky horse shoe in his pants. There were plenty of times that VGK players missed on shots that they should have put in the net.
I can’t see any of these Western clubs winning the Cup.

Maybe NJ is just following the same script they used in round 1.

Besides depth it’s a little surprising to see Seattle doing alright in the second round. They have to be one of the worst teams on paper in recent memory at the top of the roster. McCann randomly scoring ~33% of his total goals for his 8 year career, and Dunn basically doubling his highest point season. They’ve got a young promising guy in Matty B and a semi alright goalie in Grubs. I refuse to believe Hakstol is a good coach. He just got blessed with a deep team. I think I would be alright if they won the cup because it would buck the trend of high end players winning it. Who would the media even fawn over?

Who would look at Seattle’s roster & describe the coach as “blessed”?

Did anyone predict them to even make the playoffs?

And they’ve been without their 40-goal scorer since halfway through their round 1 defeat of the defending champ?

But a no-star, regimented, industrious workmanlike team fits Hak to a tee. He’s doing in Seattle what he did in North Dakota. Wave after wave of drones & worker bees.

Blessed in that the entire team is basically 2nd liners, 3rd liners, and #2/3 dmen. Ain’t got no vdv’s to use

As stack of phone books could play goalie in this series.

Always good seeing a Devil get his face punched, but these shots on the ground needs to stop.
