I remember it to. What did it lead to? Today.Jesse,
I remember people involved with the Kings doing interviews with the guys I mentioned (Joe McDonnell & Hacksaw) and this was pre-cup Kings hockey, when the team was absolutely horrible.
Yes. People have been trying to pretend that it wasnt the case for decades but the reality it is and always was the case.
Why do we all know who Dancing Boy is?
Because in the 90s there were enough empty seats for a random fan to DANCE AROUND AN ENTIRE SECTION.
I was a season ticket member for decades giving away tickets was near impossible.
Yes.Were those men just killing radio segments for no reason? Idk, maybe they were, but why can't that be done now?
Media changed. Radio is dead. Print is dead. Social media rules and theres zero money in it.
They don't have to.And if it's not realistic in the LA Market, why not go on a national podcast or do an interview with someone like Eric Stephens of the Athletic to answer some of the valid concerns of the fanbase?
Because nobody else cares. Why is it always the same places? And you can't sit here and say that it's only this forum that shares the concerns, you can see from the comments on the teams socials that many fans are concerned with the direction the team is going, do these fans (who follow the team on socials and discuss them extensively here) just not matter?
I once had a conversation with a local radio host who said when they did a Kings segment their calls SPIKED. They were FLOODED with calls.
From people telling them to stop talking about hockey.
Expect whatever you want but if you expect something you won't get that's on you for being unhappy about it all the time.We are eight seasons in, with zero playoff series wins and no better than 3rd place finishes in the division, I think it's reasonable to expect some tougher questions to be answered by the people running the Kings.
