The thing about Florida is they are a "just get in and anything can happen" team that bubble (and worse) clubs can monotone as an excuse to not rebuild, while ignoring that the Panthers have a legit 1C in McBarkov and top-line wingers in Tkachuk and Verhaeghe.

Regarding the Leafs I am not sure what you do there as GM. I'm a big fan of running back teams that have a largely successful core - you figure at some point they figure it out, or get the favourable matchups.

Matthews has one more year there anyway, I'd try to run it back minus Nylander. The defense outside of Rielly is quite pedestrian. Samsonov due for a new contract.

Toronto fans will be up in arms, but I'd replace Keefe - and give it one more go.

Honestly, he should be given greenlight to trade one of the core (Or multiple players of core)

They aren't doing shit

Guys he traded for ROR, Lafferty, etc and guys he brought in for bottom 6 (Kampf, etc) have been doing everything for Leafs while big 3 has done jackshit

Dubas added talent around core and said get it done and the core has responded by looking shit or being just straight MIA
