Watch any other postgame crew on the network, and they rip their own teams a new asshole. They can be morons, but they’re not prohibited from saying anything. I'd argue they're encouraged to be obnoxious and hoot and holler when their teams suck or individuals suck. The market eats that up.

It’s unavoidable that NBCSP is propaganda when it comes to the Flyers. They'd never hire anyone opinionated -- not even modern thinking necessarily. Because it would inevitably lead to criticisms.
