The NHL should just go straight to the shootout. Detroit gets the puck first, tries to score, but turns it over, and Seattle holds the puck for the next two minutes on the perimeter until they put themselves offside.

JVR still has offensive chops, as long as you can give him sheltered minutes he can be an asset.
But he signed for 1yr/$1M, the league knows his strengths and weaknesses, Money talks.

I’ve seen quite a Few OT’s so far that have been completely boring and mostly due to just waitng and waiting. Hate shootouts but it would be nice to somehow make the 3 on 3 quicker cus that’s when it’s exciting af

Meanwhile the Flyers have 10 fewer PPG since the start of the 21-22 season than the 31st place team, Montreal, and 91 fewer than the 1st place team, Edmonton.
