This one definitely surprised me. I get why Buffalo wanted to do it but wowzers.

He’ll never play above Dahlin at ES/PP. He’s good offensively. But I remember @FLYguy3911 and I thinking he stunk defensively despite his hype as a 2-way guy (read:size). He not surprisingly wasn’t very good defensively as a rookie.

I honestly have no idea what’s an overpay or not in 3-5 years. I do side on maximizing term for your core. Not sure what his ultimate ceiling is though.

I didn't see the first game, but Korchinski sure seems like he has a green light immediately. Beautiful stretch pass and right up front on the break. The strengths look like they'll play.
