Didn’t they pull out of that anyway? I think they just played a weekend against Toronto and Ottawa last season? It wasn’t really a tournament. I think the more NA exposure he gets, the better.

Demidov has no business going to that rookie tournament and I suspect Habs management thinks the same.\

I fully expect him to be there. It will give other rookies an opportunity to see what they're up against. I believe internal competition through the development pipeline is essential to a winning culture down the road.

You think our prospects being exposed to a player like Demidov in scrimmages, practices and exhibition games isn't beneficial to them? I 100% think it is and I'm fairly confident management does to. Demidov will be at rookie camp. Book it.
