Meier was tripped and his head fell into Trouba’s shoulder line-up. Trouba was targeting Meier’s core, totally not Trouba’s fault. That what I got out of the broadcast.

Trouba hit definitely was clean back in the day but I honestly don’t know anymore. IMO keep your head up entering the blue line and that doesn’t happen but on the other hand the league is supposedly trying to limit headshots and that was directly to the face…
