If Schenn were here, Giroux probably wouldn't be LW.

Why would Schenn being here change them wanting Couturier, Patrick, Filppula as the centers? as soon as Filppula arrived they ended the Schenn at center experiment that failed last season.

We weren't going anywhere with Schenn...he wasn't going to help us make the playoffs imo....we are and were going to be a cusp playoff team with or without him. If not having him actually causes us to not make the playoffs even more ...so be it. I think we leveraged him just fine and timing was fine too. We shall see ...too soon to judge imo..

Because I believe the biggest reason they switched Giroux to LW is because of lack of other options.
The only top 6 LW we have right now is Weal, if we discount TK.

Kind of proves that the trade was all about the future and asset management rather than opening up spots for other players.

Not gonna lie i wouldnt blame morin or sanhiem if they wanted to leave after their elc contract is up.....i know i sure as f*** would have demanded to be traded if i had to sit for 2 bums

Filppula could play LW and so could Raffl. Moving Giroux there is about how they see him, not because of a lack of wingers.

It’s one game man, they’re still with the big club so they will play. If they sit tomorrow too it changes things.

Its not the one game id be worried about.... Its been 5 years since drafted morin he should have been in by now, its been 4 for sanhiem, at some point you have to see what you have, because they shouldnt be waiting this long for a chance when theyve shown they are clearly better than the trash that keeps them out
