From the picture I can't even tell who's hitting who... Who's the other guy?If that knocked Zegras out of the game, he needs to hit the weight room, that was not a vicious hit.

Lindros problem was head shots, that was a shoulder to the chest.
YourYou’re useless.
Elbow. If there's an alternate angle I'll gladly change my tune as you knowHit looks pretty clean to me.

Do people's heads not hit the ice anymore either? Lol I could push someone in the arm and if their head bounces after the land it's still lights outLindros' problem was each concussion made him more susceptible to getting another one, and they weren't all caused by head shots.
Take a break from the muscle man fan fiction, and go read up about whiplash.
NoShoulder
Flahr would have Zegras rub food on it and have him get back out there
Nah, that's JVR after breakfast.jvr at breakfast ?
Even without hitting the ice, a fast skater at speed coming to an abrupt stop can mess a lot up. It doesn't matter how ripped you are, humans aren't meant to run chest first into a meaty pole at 25mph. You're likely to get hurt on a hit like that in a wide variety of ways, especially the whiplash.
Chaos.
He might be my favorite Flyer ever. Dude…had absolutely no chill in his game. The sheer level of madness & reckless abandon he played with was wild. Playing the way he did, just lends itself to injuries. It sucked but it’s what happened. If he dialed it back, even a little bit, he’d have had a longer career. Love him, but that dude was insane.Obviously Lindros' problem was a lack of lifting weights. Definite smallboy, right?
One of my favorite HFBoard memories is Chris Schafer and Jester going back and forth over Jester saying Giroux having a "Scott Gomez" type of career because of a lack of a shot would be the most realistic "best" outcome we could expect. Is there a more forgotten good player than Scott Gomez?
