I like how they got their minions in the media throwing shade at AV now. Like I don’t like the guy & think he was awful but it’s pretty clear what they’re trying to do whether that shit about him mailing it in is true or not. Eventually they’re gonna run out of people to blame beyond themselves.
All you have to do is look at the felating they all gave AV after he was let go and compare it to now.

Gee, I wonder what changed? Did someone put a story in their ear?

I think every time I hear that Jason Mytreus guy talk about a recent former player or employee of the team on podcasts he always has some dig at the end like a good company stooge.

Yep, it's the guys that are now gone that were the problem all along. The ones that remain are the victims.

Roughly 17% of your ‘23-‘24 cap space going towards goaltending is wild
And no 1st round picks for 3 years and a D core that basically consists of Ekblad + a bunch of nothing.

They looked like a promising contender not that long ago.

Florida did the same thing after a promising 2018 season. They can never seem to take steps forward multiple years in a row.

Still in a way better position than the Flyers though with a core of Barkov-Tkachuk-Reinhart-Ekblad-Bobrovsky/Knight....but I don't seem them winning a Cup with that D.

If Knight is as good as he’s hyped to be and might be they basically just have to make the playoffs and get hot to have a chance. If they can keep that forward group then using projected cap increases and Bobrovsky’s contract (if possible) to sign or trade for a D or two would make a huge difference.

They’ve had a bad off season and disappointing playoffs, but they’re still in good shape. Not ideal, but good.

They would have to be really lucky and have both goalies perform well at the same time for anyone to take Bobrovsky off their hands and still be a competitive. Bob is 34 now and still has 4 more years on his contract.
