Seems a good time to remember, with no relevance whatsoever to the Flyers: a bad contract doesn’t equal a bad player. And a non-functional roster doesn’t make a bad player. On functional rosters, weirdly enough these complimentary guys often rebound.

Some people questioned if Matt Tkachuk would regress or if Florida gave up too much, but he has 27 points in 18 games and he’s been the primary point producer on the Panthers by far. They got 5 years younger, and while I know Weegar and picks were involved too, Huberdeau has as many points (9) as Tkachuk has goals. If you get the best youngest player, it’s hard to lose a trade. One step backwards, two steps forward year.

Robertson another goal. Of all the shit Captain Craft Brew dropped, he didn’t mention him. Real hockey fan that one.

The navy blues were revolting. The lighter blue and gold absolutely pop and are classy as f***. The logo I don’t really care about one way or the other.

Nostalgia is fine in small doses. But the Goathead looks dated. Black jerseys are soooooooo boring.

I too don't mind the Buffaslug. Not my favorite Sabres look of all time, but overhated imo.
