McDavid going back to Edmonton to get re-evaluated. Rumors are that the best case scenario is high ankle sprain. Gutting for the Oilers and the game. Never want to see the best players in the game miss time but it could be good for the Flyers since they have Oilers Top 10 protected 1st round pick.

Any competent management group wouldn't have even needed to enter a rebuild with Giroux on the team. This team could have contended his whole career here if they all weren't different shades of the same shit.
