Apparently he interviewed for GM gig in Chicago and Pittsburgh in the past. Not to mention Canes have a lot of decisions to make this summer and he's their interim GM. Unless they hire some dino in next couple of weeks everyone in the league will get to see how he operates. In other words he is in perfect position to showcase how good he can be. Also I would laugh at Columbus for picking Waddell over him, but we are pretty much in the same category of teams with Columbus and Buffalo so I'm rightfully scared for what this off-season can bring.

It's stupid how vastly they could improve one of the options by going with Mammoths over Mammoth, but they seem to refuse.

I'm still holding out hope that one of the other names still standing is a) good, and b) wins.

All y'all need to realize the pure marketing potential of the Yeti. You put a crazy Gritty-esque mascot and bam you got a hit. You go with the Abominables instead of Abominable, you start up some crazy family with a yeti, BigFoot and an abominable snowman.

If they do this irl I'm expecting a 10% royalty Utah franchise.
