I might sound like hater or ''shouting at cloud'' type of person, but here it goes - if it was possible, I'd love both teams to lose - Edmonton and Florida.

Sure, the prospect of southern team winning SCF sounds very refreshing, but the way Cats have been playing these and prior playoffs have left bad taste in my mouth. They were essentially just gooing s*** up and relying on refs swallowing their whistles, because ''muh playoffs, let ze doods plei''. I get where it's coming from and I have felt regular season vs play-off vibe difference myself as floorball player massively and would never blame any ref for not calling some 50/50 ticky-tacky stuff, but there's absolutely no need to go to extremes. FLA did the seemingly impossible - they made me cheer for Boston in a play-off series. What Bennett got away with these playoffs alone (blatant cross-check into the back of Bruins defender leading to goal, elbowing Marchand that led to concussion) was absolute bs. Like, absolutely eff off with that crap. As a European and PHI fan (only) since 2010 my hatred for NYR is.. well... simply not present; so, I was seriously cheering for NYR in ECF. To anyone thinking that my, ehm, complaint about play-off refereeing means I don't understand the game as a relatively new fan, look in the mirror and ask yourself how that combines w me cheering against southern & relatively recent franchise (FLA) when they are facing original 6 (BOS/NYR). Altho, PHI as a s***-show franchise managerial-wise would 100% deserve seeing Bob lift SC in other team's jersey.

Edmonton... A bit more emotional and less rational reasoning. Same reason why Toronto's endless failures make me smile. 1) I simply dislike teams being built like a teenager was given access to NHL GM mode. Granted, these play-offs they've had fair contribution by players not named McDavid/Drai (namely Bouchard with less than 4mil AAV), which is the only reason they are in SCF, but still. I was also already actively following/analyzing NHL stuff when they got many consecutive high/1st draft picks, which adds to this ''not how I'd like to see a winning team being built in perfect universe''. 2) McDrai going deep into playoffs is good for ratings, good for the game, I appreciate that conclusion and it is fair. However, even with such gift, NHL sucks at marketing, they should be absolutely milking this, but it's felt only slightly. So, the only benefit of EDM in SCF (in my completely biased and flawed perspective) is out the window.

...thanks for coming to my TedTalk

Chuck is prettier than Jarmo, and would probably take less money, too. Carolina's owner loves to pinch pennies when possible.

I dont see why Tulsky would accept that

I would walk away if ownership after waiting like he has just brings in another to take GM job away from him
I don’t think he’ll get a job without some kind of 200 hockey man being there with him, he just needs to get a job and prove it’s not needed, which is most likely to happen in a place people know him best.

If Philadelphia touches Nečas, I am going to kick something

If Ken Holland and Corey Perry win the Cup, I might kick something

The fact Carolina seemingly won’t hire Tulsky without a mouthpiece to me signals Tulsky has no credibility amongst the hockey men.

At least Dubas as an outsider worked his way up in traditional roles at the lower levels. He ran a successful OHL program before getting a job with the Maple Leafs as their AGM & eventually GM. Obviously there was results to back it up so I even amongst traditionalists it was hard to argue he didn’t pay his dues.
