What kind of boxscore is this? 63 goals? 87 assists?

There's a thread on the main boards for creating an all-time roster for your team with late round picks (defined as 100 oa or later). This is what I could cobble together for Philly (obviously forward positions and defensive sides aren't perfect). If I missed anyone let me know.
Basically we can draft decent goalies late but not much else.

Pelle Eklund (161)-Anton Stastny (198)-Rick Tocchet (121)
Pat Maroon (161)-Paul Holmgren (108)-Andy Brickley (210)
Alexander Selivanov (140)-Andrei Lomakin (138)-Dave Brown (140)
Oskar Lindblom (138)-Noah Cates (137)-Todd Fedoruk (164)

Gord Murphy (189)-Dennis Seidenberg (172)
Murray Baron (167)-Dmitry Yushkevich (132)
Dmitri Tertyshny (132)-Norm Barnes (122)

Ron Hextall (119)
Pete Peeters (135)

HM: Samuel Ersson (143), Zac Rinaldo (178), Roman Cechmanek (171), Antero Niittymaki (168), Radovan Somik (100), Colin Forbes (166), Johan Hedberg (218), Chris Herperger (223)

The only thing you could really do is flop Lindblom to the other side and put in Eric Wellwood at 4LW if you were a fan before the injury. It's difficult to fault someone for choosing either side of that one.

Penguins up 3-0 on the Capitals
Islanders tied 2-2 with the blue jackets

Penguins with a win go to 1 point out and 2 behind the Flyers, but they have the toughest schedule.

This post made me look through all Flyers draft picks as I was sure there had to be better options. There were none.

I’d bump Niittymäki in his pre-hip injury, best goalie of the olympics form to the backup slot though. Without the injuries, he could have been one of the great finnish goalies in the nhl. From wikipedia

”He suffered a torn labrum injury to his left hip during training camp. Doctors decided to try giving him cortisone shots to postpone surgery, which would have sidelined him for 6–8 weeks. The first shot allowed him to get back on the ice for the start of the season, but by late December he needed another shot. Despite this, he managed to take over the starting goaltender position from Esche, after Esche fell out with the coaching staff and management. However, Philadelphia acquired Martin Biron and he was given the starting position for the rest of the year. Niittymäki finally had hip surgery in summer 2008.”

Sounds eerily familiar…

I always liked Niitty. He was money in the AHL. Not sure if he would've been elite but I do think he definitely could've lasted much longer than he did after being run into the ground.
