Could Chuck be the replacement when Loony Lou finally gets the axe?

Hah, I forgot NYI gave 31 year old Scott Mayfield a 7 year extension this summer.

The blueprint.

I wonder how serious this Zegras injury is. It went from "taking one day off to nurse a nagging injury" to "indefinitely out with undisclosed lower body injury"

Did the Flyers training staff get involved at any point?

4 team World Cup? Lol.

Just invite Czechia, Germany, Slovakia, & Switzerland too. It is what it is with Russia but at least give yourself some semblance of a normal international tournament. You’re basically willing sitting at home guys like Draisaitl & Pastrnak who perennial are some of the top scorers in your league. How is this so difficult for the NHL?

At least they didn't invite a 'the rest of the World' team.

I’d honestly be pissed if I had a legit chance at making my national team but they subjected me to a continent team like North America too.

I guess there wasn’t too many amongst the Canadians but there definitely were a fair amount of Americans that probably would have made the American team if eligible.

That clip didn't catch it, but Kopitar's reaction was awesome.

Glad Byfield is finally breaking through. His ceiling is somewhere in the stratosphere.
Overall body of work Kopitar is above anyone not named Crosby during the span of his career. He's been such a consistent monster. He even got a statue built for Dustin brown.

TJ Oshie only has 1 point in 15 games.

He'll be 37 in a month and has another year left at $5.75m.

Aside from that one Olympic shootout performance, i've always hated him as a player. Sneaky dirty with lifeless eyes. Benefited tremendously from Backstrom and Ovechkin.
