Crosby works his rear off on the ice. One of the best motors I’ve ever seen on a superstar.

Credit where due.
The only reason why I hated Crosby so much, was because he'd dive/flop/cry to the refs after absolutely any contact on him, I never once questioned his skill, dudes an animal, but those things made me hate him, where as Mario lemiuex I loved him even though he was on the rival team

That would be a disappointing return for Hart alone. Holloway is an underwhelming winger (ie, not a need) who is now on LTIR. Switch him out for Bourgault, at least. And Edmonton would also have to send a cap dump to be able to afford Hart, so even worse for the Flyers.
Drop Holloway in the deal and insert Bouchard. Of course the Flyers would have to send back a defenseman to fill the Oilers hole in the blue line. Bouchard is having a rough season and the fans are all over him for bad play. He could be a stiff but he may just be having a post signing down turn like Sanheim had here for most of last season.

That's better, Renberg. Add Walker instead of Frost, who would just be a toss-in. They could even include Seeler as a sound defensive defenseman who would add toughness. So:

Hart, Walker, and Seeler for Bouchard, Campbell, Bourgault, 1st 2024, 3rd 2025, 1st 2026 OR Bouchard, Kulak (cap), lesser prospect (Wanner? Yevseyev?), 1st 2024, 3rd 2025

I guess that a deal such as this all revolves around Hart getting cleared in his case. If/when that happens, Briere will probably make a move. With Ersson, Sandstrom and the Russians that are in the pipeline, something is going to pop with Hart sometime.

Lemieux was much bigger than Crosby. He could handle himself even against bigger opponents.

If Bedard, McDavid or Hughes got bullied like Crosby did when he entered the league they would dive, flop and cry until the cows come home.

They’re not trading Bouchard for a Goalie.

He’s terrible defensively, but that’s not new. He’s got 18 Points in 18 Games and multiple years as a high end offensive and transition driver.

Giant thread:

This is odd. I’m concerned about the quality of data being offered to the public this year. More than normal.

In the back of my mind, I would be a bit more skeptical of teams whose metrics in the broad expected metrics significantly outstrip ones without location like those based on Corsi.

Media up here disagree.

Most feel the deal is going to hurt to add a legit goalie and they have little to move on the roster that fit cap wise tgat match those goalies. Talk of Hart and Saros.

The cheap route is guys like Blackwood.

There is a Mrazek+Perry deal being rumored...lol.

So...why can't he wear it? Serious question

I believe the official response would be it’s not league issued. There’s no more speciality jerseys or equipment allowed anymore after last year’s Pride Night debacle. The league doesn’t issue anything for like Cancer, Military, etc. night’s anymore either. The league’s answer was making none of these things available anymore. So anything a player would wear/use is not issued & the player/team is up for a fine.
