The last half of the game yesterday impressed the heck out of me. Was a total war… felt like both teams were skating through 8-9 opponents at once (NZ especially).
And on the back end of a back-to-back?

Great resilience (and conditioning)!

I think Ek is hurt. Wrist or hand injury. Seems to have trouble with the puck. Skating seems fine but the hands are not there
I think something his up with his knee. His skating has really taken a hit

Russo on WSITH saying the Brodin has something similar going on as to what Spurgeon had last season…

Rumors in the swedish press says he's gonna play in four nations. The Wild fo must be ok with this if true.

How long is the NHL on a break for during the four nations tournament? Id really like to see our guys not play and rest and try and heal up a bit during the tournament.

The tournament is Feb 12-20, the Wild have Feb 9-21 off.

Man i wish some of the boys who are playing would take that time off and rest and heal up. Thats a good amount of time to try their best to get back to 100%.

Apparently Middleton said in chicklets that his whole back is blown out
I don't know what blown out means. If it's a swollen muscle/liquid that it is pressing on a nerve it can be incredibly painful, and almost impossible to play with, but can have next to no long term effects once the swelling goes down. If it has something to do with the actual spine, like a bulging or slipped disc or worn disc cartilage, it can be another thing altogether.

Get ready to learn

Ohgren-Rossi-Kaprizov
Boldy-Ek-Boeser

Jiricek
I'm a pretty good pupil and am eager to see your vision of xgren on that top line and learn. Haven't seen anything too warrant it (yet). I also don't want Boeser.

That said, this fricken team is fun so far thisvyear

Team Sweden 4 nations.
Gus, Brodin and Ek. Should mean Brodin's injury is not that bad.
Another ex Wild player made it, Gustav Nyqvist.

Victor Hedman, Tampa Bay Lightning
Gustav Forsling, Florida Panthers
Erik Karlsson, Pittsburgh Penguins
Rasmus Andersson, Calgary Flames
Rasmus Dahlin, Buffalo Sabres
Mattias Ekholm, Edmonton Oilers
Jonas Brodin, Minnesota Wild

I don't think the other teams can match that.
Ullmark and Markström is the other goalies.
