If we could get a 30 gm games , with gms that can edleast check on (unless they have a problem they must deal with ) i think it be awesome.
I have gotten a few inquires about Simmonds. He will not be moved, along with Couturier. I love the grit they bring to our team, and we want to add more of them, not lose any. I will trade my offensive guys (Turris, Schenn, etc.), but I want to keep them.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are happy to announce that we have acquired young defender Zach Bogosian from the Winnipeg Jets. Zach is a tremendous competitor with a great skill set. he has great potential and we hope he will be a building block on the back end for the forseeable future. We would like to thank Matt Cooke for his contributions to our franchise, including his role in our 2009 Stanley Cup. And we also wish the frequently traded Johnny Boychuk luck in Winnipeg and hope he finds a rightful spot on an NHL roster. This move was necessary to help our salary cap situation.

Sorry people I have been inactive this game, something unexpected came up that was very important. If the playoff didn't start and I'm still GM of the Boston Bruins I would like to continue with the game.

Your offense is your downfall but with what you had and that you kept weber and rinne its quite good although i didnt get the fedotenko for kosistyn trade. Amazing defense Weber and myers is a beastly combo and well rinne is rinne
I am not a fan of kosistyn. It could be the Toronto Maple Leafs fan in me but I never really liked him as a player. My style of players I liked were the Doan's, Browns of hockey they don't score a lot but they play a solid two way style of game.
General Manager:Trade Block: Marchand or Kregci
Team needs: Top 4 Defense, Bottom paring defense.
Also are there any notable FA left.

This was a tough price to pay for us giving away Jussi Jokinen and especially Franzen but the pure skill of Hossa will be great for our team. Hossa should shine with a playmaker like Stastny next to him. We are also excited to now have Sharp, Seabrook, Hossa, Bolland, Havlat all together. We wish Franzen,Jokinen and the Jets luck in the future.

Game Timeline:
Trade Deadline: To give guys like hlaverty and Spacecorn some time to work I think setting trade deadline for Friday at midnight would be fair.
Standings Vote: Voting will happen right after trade deadline so I'd say Saturday for standings votes.
Playoffs: Playoffs can start after the standings voted get tallied, likely starting Sunday.
Entry draft: not sure if anyone wants to do a draft or a KLLR cup? If people want to do the KLLR (kind of pointless since Dong is the only team who is sort of rebuilding, but I don't even know who's on his roster) then it should be before the playoffs.
How does this sound for everyone?
