If I was Talbot, I would be pissed. Dude has played very well for the WIld the past 2 years and they push him to now being a backup and not give him another shot in the playoffs?

Is it Possible they are adding Fleury to decrease Talbots load for the playoffs?

Like a 1a/2a situation. Where Fleury is the back up going into playoffs?

Great deal for Wild....Not sure what Chicago is thinking??? You have to get a 1st rounder for him.

Dubas should have been all over this. Great price, 2nd and becomes a 1st if they make the WCF, I believe Minny is set to faceoff against Colorado ? But overall great value.

As much as I can’t stand Fleurys teeth, we could have gotten him for a second ? Wow. Come on Blake.

If I'm Edmonton, I'm calling Guerin right now to see if there is a deal for Talbot. Talbot-Koskinen is a far better option going into the playoffs than Koskinen-Smith.

So he waved after all! Something about MAF in Minnesota just fits. He seems like a Minnesota kind of guy. Really friendly and well liked outwardly, but dont get him riled up!

And from the Wild perspective, going for it this year makes a whole lot of sense, before the dead cap on their buyouts kicks them in the butt

If I was Kahkonen I'd be more pissed; he's probably going to be regulated to the bench/AHL.

Talbot has been shaky at best since the All-Star break, this gives Minnesota a lot of flexibility. Also the 2nd to 1st is a pretty good condition.

I don't see Talbot wanting to go back to Edmonton, he was literally ran out of town by the fans in his last year there.
