It's already been reported that he'd waive for Minnesota.Do we even know if Fleury wants to go there? Gms have been known to negotiate just to set a market price
That's fair especially considering that McBain probably already has his sites set on a couple teams and all Russian prospect's are somewhat devalued at this point. It's already been reported that he'd waive for Minnesota.
Anyway. Fleury @50@ for Khusnutdinov, McBain and Kahkonen.
Easy no for the wildIt's already been reported that he'd waive for Minnesota.

Anyway. Fleury @50% for Khusnutdinov, McBain and Kahkonen.
Swap Kahkonen for Talbot; gives the Wild a potentially cheaper and younger option than Talbot for next season and Hawks can try to turn around and trade Talbot at next year's deadline. Remove McBain, keep MK.It's already been reported that he'd waive for Minnesota.
Anyway. Fleury @50% for Khusnutdinov, McBain and Kahkonen.
Again, Wild don’t actually need retention. Khusnutdinov alone has late first value, he was a second rounder that has progressed nicely. This offer is way over what would actually be the return. It's already been reported that he'd waive for Minnesota.

That would work.Swap Kahkonen for Talbot; gives the Wild a potentially cheaper and younger option than Talbot for next season and Hawks can try to turn around and trade Talbot at next year's deadline. Remove McBain, keep MK.
Fleury with retention for Khusnutdinov and Talbot.
Honestly, I view him as having little value and if the Hawks are interested, just sign him in August. If the Hawks acquired him he'd be nothing more than a throw in. Guerin is high thinking that he has any value to another team just months away from UFA.If McBain would sign with Chicago, I think McBain and Kahkonen for Fleury is totally reasonable.
If the hawks are acquiring him then he’s signing with them. They wouldn’t acquire his rights and hope.Honestly, I view him as having little value and if the Hawks are interested, just sign him in August. If they want him, they can bid for his services in August. No need to waste part of the return on Fleury on him.If the hawks are acquiring him then he’s signing with them. They wouldn’t acquire his rights and hope.
You don't seem to get it. Not only other teams, but also McBain, are highly motivated to sign him before he becomes a FA. That's the only way he can burn a year.If they want him, they can bid for his services in August. No need to waste part of the return on Fleury on him.
These college seniors are mostly bottom 6ers or fringe NHLers anyway, so no huge loss. You don't seem to get it. Not only other teams, but also McBain, are highly motivated to sign him before he becomes a FA. That's the only way he can burn a year.
Have you seen the Hawks defense? They're crap. Fleury has been doing very well considering.Has Fleury even been that good this year?
37 year old goalie with a .909 save percentage does not scream 1st round pick worthy to me.

Something you wouldn't know if you haven't been watching the games. They get badly outshot and have been giving up the most shots against in the NHL for the last few years.
Last week against Boston he made 46 saves and stole a point. Hawks had no business even being in that game. When you bleed shots like the Hawks do, goals are going to happen.
How about no. Minnesota doesn't need Chicago to retain. Sure as heck aren't trading a top prospect for a rental GIt's already been reported that he'd waive for Minnesota.
Anyway. Fleury @50% for Khusnutdinov, McBain and Kahkonen.
Don’t think your understanding this whole thingIf they want him, they can bid for his services in August. No need to waste part of the return on Fleury on him.
He already said no to waiving for Toronto. Stop making stuff upFleury is exactly the kind of star personality that would flourish or FLOWER if you like in the pressure cooked called Toronto . With Mrazek waived and the Leafs so close to acquiring him recently i can totally see M A in a Leaf uniform .
