Looch brings his A game to LA this year.... Will enjoy watching him bully Vancouver and Anaheim.

He's going to want to prove himself. That's bad news for kings opponents

Yup. Him, Clifford and Nolan all in the same lineup would be pretty miserable to play against. Hopefully Brown can fiind a way to not fall down and actually lay the body too

I'll miss him as a Bruins fan for sure. He plays his heart out when the game is on the line, just watch the Toronto comeback game 7.

I'll be cheering for him in LA!
Also sad we lost the Monarchs. I lived ten minutes from their arena and went to their games quite a bit.

Lucic has loads of leadership qualities. Wasn't too long ago where Bruins fans were giving him a future "A". I was one of them.

Won't be on Brown to be the only guy that the opponents hate anymore. He can focus on leading by example

I'm pumped for the season to start

Good to hear from Bruins fans. Just for you, Game 7 Comeback highlights with a very excited non-English announcer providing narration. (Can you guess the language without looking at the comments?) Lucic's goal is 2 minutes in and for the OT winner start watching 5 minutes in. TAAAA! RA-TA-TA-TA-TAH!

I think the dux signed Stewart to counter Lucic to some degree.

The Ducks have lost/traded away some size and relative toughness with the departures of Belesky, Etem and DSP.

Stewart plays like Dwight King, (ie doesn't use his size effectively) although he's a pretty good fighter. Lazy bum though on the forecheck

I believe we're welcoming all Manchester fans and Bruins/Lucic fans to our forum like how we enjoyed all of the Flyer fans when we acquired Richards.

Stewart is Dwight King without a soul

Thanks. That's three cynics (so far) on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Some of you guys need to get out and soak up some ****ing sun. Excuse me for posting something positive.

Jesus H. Christ, this board can be such a downer sometimes. Think I will take the rest of the day off.

The sun gives me cancer

-Took Ron's advice, and really feeling it right now, from "soaking up" too much sun pool side yesterday.

-I'm with Ron on the Lucic deal getting done. Lucic is the ideal Lombardi hockey player. After signing Kopitar, Lombardi's highest priority will be to sign Lucic. Even if the contract ends up being a large cap hit, I can see Lombardi moving other pieces to fit Lucic.

Effectively isn't the same as what everyone would wish he did. We want him to be a big hitter at 6-4, 230, but that's not who King is. He's a grinder, and not lazy on the forecheck.

If Stewart played like King, he wouldn't be on his 5th team in 3 years. Wouldn't have been traded from a playoff team. Wouldn't have been dealt to a playoff team for only a draft pick 2 years from now.

I meant that Stewart is a lazy bum, not King. Sorry if thst came off confusing.

Effort is always there from Dwight, but what frustrates me is his lack of aggressiveness. I'm okay with him not blasting people like Matt Martin through the boards, that's not his game. Fine. But if he's pinned along the boards, he tends to just stay there, and not fight through the check, that's frustrating to see when he's bigger than 90% of guys in the league.

I wonder how many "Thank You Fans" ads have been created since Drew Bledsoe first did it when he was traded from New England to Buffalo.

Man, did he start a trend.

Dwight King left a dead, half-eaten raccoon on my doorstep last night. It's an old Sicilian message: "Don't compare me to Chris Stewart."

Dwight King is Wyatt Earp and Stewart is Johnny Tyler

Thanks! I'll be following Looch next season with all of you. Hoping he performs well which I believe he will. Be interesting to see him when you guys play Montreal lol.

And thank You PJ kings fan for the YouTube video, classic.

But none of them thank Doug Houda. I think.

I laughed multiple times.

That framed photo of the raccoon got me.

I know the feeling. Just a couple of weeks ago, a dead bird was in front of my neighbor's doorstep, in the shared driveway. I called the county of Orange. Amazingly, their recording (and the person who eventually answered my phone call 20 minutes later) told me it could take anywhere from one to three days for someone to pick it up. I asked the guy if that wasn't a health hazard. He said they were short-staffed, and hung up. Thankfully, it only took about a day and a half. Worse than Toronto, in any case.
