Absolutely stunning huh? :sarcasm:

While it is the Mayor and therefore to be taken with a block of salt, it never did make sense to think DL was promising or even considering promising this guy a roster spot next year.

Ladue is massively underrated around here. Kid may not make it, nothing is a guarantee, but he's got a lot of all around skill.
By LaDue going back to school, next year I'd imagine he will have the Reilly options of this year? Any thoughts? Don't know his status completely.

No thoughts at all. Players doing what Schultz, Wheeler, Hayes and now Reilly are doing is so uncommon that it really doesn't worry me. It could happen, but I doubt it and I offer figure there is an underlying, and unspoken, reason these players refuse to sign.

Well, looks like we can kiss Reilly goodbye.

Seen Reilly live. Not a guy I'd exactly want on my team.

I've posted that I've seen him play also live, although a few years ago when he was quite smaller. But even now he's not that big, and doesn't play too much defense effectively. He might have looked OK in a small sample at a World Tournament, but at those there's a lot of loose checking hockey taking place, as players aren't on their regular rosters. The last time I checked, the Kings are about the last team in the league to play a loose style. So, I'm not against signing him, because he'd basically be a free asset in an ELC where we might be able to develop him further to fit the Kings mold of a D. But, he doesn't want to do that. And, I don't blame him. There are plenty of guys in the league making good money at about his skill levels. These teams aren't successful, but there are plenty of guys out there. I'd compare him to a Jake Gardiner type player in Toronto. Very similar players.

Do horny female fans only live in Chicago? Pretty sure their are hockey groupies everywhere. Winning a championship probably doesn't hurt either.

Why is Teravainen even discussing this? Just curious.

In fact nevermind, the less I know about players activities outside the rink the better, or is it?

And there we have it. I hope Reilly knows that he too can be groped in public if he helps win another championship here in LA (by horny puck bunnies, at the beach).

No surprise that he didn't sign with the Kings but if there's a silver lining it's that at least he didn't go to the Hawks.
