I’ve read hundreds of these comments being made. They are unrelenting, methodical and disturbing. This person has no business going anywhere near the women in the hockey community ever again.

Her fixation with Mel has always been unhealthy. Then it became scary. So glad Mel is protecting herself. No team will welcome this girl to the room.

It certainly wouldn't be out of character for someone who exhibits this kind of sociopathic behaviour to lie to and gaslight their loved ones. Would be pretty par for the course. If she's guilty and he sticks by her then f*** em and send him packing but it'd wait and see here. Hoffman's whole world might be crumbling around him right now with this breaking publically and him in the rumour mill.
I would probably judge him harshly if he goes through with marrying this psycho but I can also appreciate that he could be in a pretty abusive relationship and may need help.

Im just going to speculate that a woman who is this vindictive against someone online may also vent openly in front of ones spouse. However, I really dont give a .... anymore about this dollar store team with its back alley antics, dikhead owner, and awkward scandals. Just when you thought it couldn't get worse, the bottom drops out. This will surely carry into the season and affect the moves this summer. What a joke this team is.

I agree that Hoff may not of known the full extent of what was going on. I can't imagine what he is going through right now, your first reaction is of course going to defend your partner of 10 years, of course it is. I'm not so sure the next step will be that easy, it might take a while after 10 years. He will be weighing the consequences in his mind, stay with my partner or give away my career and millions. Love is difficult, would it shock you if he walked away with his millions made and stayed with his gal?

I have no doubt that the Karlssons' have collected hundreds if not thousands of different hurtful messages they've received. I've read lots of them myself. However, that doesn't prove that any one specific person was behind them.

Again, this doesn't prove anything. She's giving a vague opinion on the situation.
We haven't even heard from the Karlssons' yet and people are already acting like both Hoffman and his GF have been convicted. They never even served the peace bond on her BTW and it sounds like they didn't have the assistance of the police for filing the police bond.

If you were Mike Hoffman, would you come out and condemn your fiancé, who you've been with for a long time, over accusations? The news just broke, why do people expect Hoffman to right away condemn her without any proof? It's easy to sit back in your armchair and judge him, but none of us know what that's like. Let's wait a bit before we judge the kind of person Hoffman is.
