It had a confirmed release date of November 11th 2022, then got pushed into first half of 2023, and now this date. So, this was absolutely delayed.

Duh, that was already known. I don't consider 3 months much of a delay. And let's be reality, are people really complaining about a Bethesda game getting released when it's actually done???!

I have been interested in this. I see that a handful of samsung TVs offer this service. would be kind of neat to be able to just grab your remote and play right on the tv with no external consule.

I just saw his last reply and yeah, some people just want to be annoying for the sake of it.

The one feature missing right now that I want is keyboard and mouse control, but I think they'll get around to it.

Microsoft also announced that they are working on it for all xCloud games, including ones developed for a controller.

This is becoming an issue for Xbox. Literally nobody buys games anymore for Xbox, it’s almost exclusively a gamepass device even for diehards, so unless they have a deal with gamepass there’s almost no point. A few other devs have done this now even with no exclusivity.

I've definitely seen some hesitancy online about buying Xbox games in fear of them ending up on Game Pass and feeling like you wasted money.

With that being said, it's hard to pinpoint one specific reason some of these games are skipping Xbox. Especially when it comes to Square Enix who is pretty incompetent.

I really want Resident Evil 4 remake. But the game launches for $80CAD + tax, in a buggy state. Unless it's a game I literally will not wait to try (Hogwarts Legacy, Tears of the Kingdom, for example), I'm gonna wait. I have enough games on the backlog, by the time I'd have some time, I could probably get RE4 at 50% off and in a much better state.

Again, this is my reasoning. I know there are some people with the "wait til Game Pass" mentality
