If I get a Series S and I get my brother one (who's in another country) then can we share a Gamepass Ultimate subscription and also, would we be able to play games with/against each other on that subscription or would we need different subscriptions?

Depends on where you are located. Colombia and Ireland have a Family & Friends version of Game Pass Ultimate, which is more expensive and allows you to do what you want with up to 5 people sharing one account.

Until it's available elsewhere, you would need two subscriptions because you are playing two instances of the game.

"While global pricings for the Friends and Family plan remain currently unknown, the service is being trialed in Ireland and Colombia, meaning that fans can get a rough idea of what kind of price point to expect. In Ireland, the trial plan currently costs €21.99 per month, and is currently 49,990 COP in Colombia. Going off these two comparative prices, it is safe to assume that the Friends and Family pass will cost around $20 per month in the United States."

Could they not set each others Xbox’s as the home Xbox, and share Gamepass/games that way?

They've just this week been teasing about announcing the release date.
Thing is the release date was already announced

I guess its possible theyre moving it up rather than delaying it

edit: oh wait, this was the last delay, lol, let me go search reddit for where i saw that rumor.

edit2:

ah, this makes sense, baseless rumors based on a new steam policy

Howard's constant spouting of "30fps is more than enough... don't need 60fps" is kind of a weird flex.

I think I've seen him mention something to that effect in about 4-5 different interviews.

Developer Direct was cool. Forza looks like it got delayed a bit, but I’m now all in on Redfall after playing Deathloop. Hi-Fi Rush looks like a lot of fun.
Redfall release date May 2nd. Looks like they're not sure on the release date for Forza. IIRC, previous games have ben released within the August - November window. That might include Forza Horizon games too. So it might still get in that window. 4K 60 FPS with raytracing sounds good and I can imagine that will take time creating with over 500 cars.

Redfall is being slept on. Looks fun + Arkane doesn’t miss.

I’m a Horizon guy but will check out Motorsport for the technological showcase at the very least.

Thought the show was cool, got me more excited for everything they said they would show + some cool surprises with the new shadow drop + ESO free DLCs for a limited time.

Plus finally 007! Know they announced it earlier but still.

Hi-Fi Rush looks interesting, I'll probably give it a run on gamepass. It's tone and style give me a bit of Sunset Overdrive vibes.

People seem to really be enjoying HiFi Rush. Wonder if the shadow drop helped it avoid people being negative over small details from the trailer and debut. Shadow drops are an interesting tactic and Game Pass allows Microsoft to pull it off.

I really liked Sunset Overdrive, not sure if Hi-Fi Rush is my cup of tea based on the trailer, but if it's on gamepass I'll give it a try most likely

I was a little surprised when it mentioned it was from the makers of The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2, I think if they would have asked what games do you think these guys made prior to this you might guess every single game ever made before getting to those two
