I don't mind a slog win if it's close, although I wouldn't wanna do it every night.
The thing I'm most bored by is watching the other team play while we fart all over the ice. This wasn't that.

I love Chris, have loved this season, but I'm one of those who wanted him traded.
Of course in this alternate reality we did trade him for Robertson and a first; Robertson is about to break the Rangers single season goal record, Laf is going PPG on his other wing and we're 1st in the League by 5 games...

Being realistic we have three options for two spots on the bottom pair between Schneider Braun and nemeth.
I think you ride Schneider through his growing pains. The kid is a f***ing legit hockey player and the type of mean sob teams win with in the playoffs.
So are you playing nemeth or Braun on his off side? I tend to lean Braun as a simple matter of less worse between the two guys. Jones obviously isn't an option for this org this year, if he was he wouldnt still be in the A at this point. So who's your pick(s)?

Nemeth was always a good defender until we asked him to babysit children from Hartford almost exclusively for an entire season.

That hit and the fight do actually mean something in the course of a game. It's not just about the charts.
Yeah but they didn't have the horses for what happened last time. Sitting back and playing defense with a bad backup goalie in net is a dangerous game to play.
Another 2 points. Not the prettiest game, but better than the last few games against NJ/PHL/NYI. Lots of playoff teams lost tonight. We have a legit shot at the division. Not sure if that’s a good thing, but home ice is looking good.

If we cant beat the devils without hughes playing our game and have resort to playing the trap then we suck...

On paper, I'd agree, but they're one of the hottest teams in the league right now. They remind me a lot of those early 2010's LA teams. They're a sleeper team I can see making a run. How funny would it be if they beat Toronto in the playoffs.....again?
