You know he's already gripping a stick right?

Thought I read lightly gripping and pushing more than shooting. I have 0 medical training, and have never broken my hand, so I'm just guessing based on umm, instinct? I'm a huge kreider apologist so I hope I'm wrong.

And yea, this schedule is bull****. But so was th Philly one. At least they can only stick us with one noon start.

That schedule is just a joke. Two sets of back to back games in less than a week? Weak sauce.

Is my math off, or are they really making us play 5 games in 7 nights in the playoffs?

Just like last year-- a game on Mother's Day.

It really seems like the league tries to screw us... But why?

That's why the scheduler made it this way, didn't ya know?

 I just don't understand the rush of games? We had all those off days in round 1, now it's time to speed everything up. Now it is on the Rangers in part for taking 7 games in round 1, but I don't understand back to back games in the playoffs.

No reason. Entirely favors Pitt. League loves them. I'd say hopefully we can have a quick series... but this team has no killer instinct... and that's best case.

I don't know why they chose the option they did, but it was either a back-to-back Sun/Mon or Tue/Wed because of the Liberty game on Thursday and the Billy Joel concert Friday.

Liberty play 11 A.M. Thursday, guess for school kids to go. Could have had game 4 Thursday night.

::thinks something sexist::

I blame Columbus. If they won, we'd have home ice and this wouldn't be an issue.

stupid schedule.

Anyways, we need to get to MAF...he can be mentally fragile, must get to him early and often

If the Rangers HAVE to play back to back games against the Penguins, I'd rather Tue/Wed. At least make the back to back both home games for the Rangers. Actually it benefits both teams, no travel between games. Stupid NHL.

Yeah, that one I'm not sure of. I bet it has something to do with TV schedule. Game 3 of the Bruins/Habs is Tuesday.

Friday, May 2: Rangers at Penguins, 7:30 p.m. ET.
Sunday, May 4: Rangers at Penguins, 7 p.m. ET.
Monday, May 5: Penguins at Rangers, 7:30 p.m. ET.
Wednesday, May 7: Penguins at Rangers, 7:30 p.m. ET.
Friday, May 9: Rangers at Penguins, TBD.*
Sunday, May 11: Penguins at Rangers, TBD.*
Tuesday, May 13, TBD.*

That's a lot of hockey for the Rangers. They are going to be spent. ****ed again by the nhl schedule makers. The Philly series was two weeks long. This one is going to basically be one week. By Monday the Rangers will have played 6 games in 9 nights. Is that even allowed?

Jesus Christ. Gonna be really difficult on the Rangers. They will run out of gas.

Especially with the Rangers seemingly taking every series to 7 for them to win.

If they win in 7, I have no faith in the ECF. They're going to be gassed.

Yep, this is why it was so important they stayed away from seven against Philly. 6 playoff games in 9 nights is brutal. The extra 2 days rest would've been huge if they got this one done in 6. Pitt has it. Game 1-3 is gonna be gone in a flash. It took 6 days to get through 3 games in the first round. Against the Pens it will be 4.

Looks like sutter and vitale are probably gonna be ready for Friday. Hope Kreider is 100 percent at some point
