No I mean that's basically it, Lempo nailed it. Some promo shit that Starbucks was (still is?) running in their stores in Target in the US and people (mostly yuppie millennial women) are going nuts over them. Like they're paying a 250+% markup on the cost of a standard generic tumbler because it's Stanley and exclusive to Starbucks/Target. And I've already seen the stuff for re-sale online at a 4x markup from THAT. $200 for a $15 cup because FOMO or whatever status symbol bullshit.
Of course there's a reason I'm the kind of guy that still drives around a Saturn that's old enough to vote at this point instead of getting a new car every 3-4 years like a lot of people I know.
