See, I pick the stick easily. I get the appeal of the rock, and its durability compared to the stick is a big plus, but the stick appeals to my inner child so much.

The way I see it, that stick is just a sapling with a couple of limbs hacked off. A dime a dozen. But that rock….that there is purdy.

Fun fact, that was loosely based on a book, and that plotline is a total invention of the movie. I read the entire book and was very confused at the end when "Soylent Green is people!!!" never came up.
