I've been through offseasons that seemed shorter than the 4 days in between the FLA game and tomorrow.

It is exciting, I'm probably speaking from emotion but I think the Jackets may win tomorrow, the big reason is that BOB was not in net for 95% of the time we played Pitt this season...

Which I'm sure he uses to run out and buy more kiddy porn with, huh?

I'm not sure he gets any money any longer but this board spent weeks on the subject many years ago, at that time the best research indicated he received about 1/100 of a penny every time it was played in the world.. I understand the reason for not playing it but if historians would research the backgrounds of the 10's of thousands music writers since 1600 I bet many of the classical scores played every day in this nation would be banned...

Anyway, it's a dead subject, we need to find a new goal song that works...

Pens fans are so annoying on the main thread. I hope we wipe the ice with them tomorrow.

Great odds to be had on the Jackets for game 1.

http://www.vegasinsider.com/nhl/odds/las-vegas/

For non bettors, the average betting line appears to be +160 when taking the Jackets. That means one bets $100 to win $160. The average betting line for those wanting to bet on the Penguins is -180. So, one would need to bet $180 to win $100.

I'll take a towel to swing over my head any day over that.

That seems very Pittsburghish (not that I'm going to be using Thunder Sticks either)

Please tell me I'm not the only one who had a dream about this series last night.
I had a dream that I woke up. Realized that the game was on and the jackets were up 4 nothing with 6 minutes left. Had to go upstairs to check on my daughter and when I came back down the score was 5-5. Worst dream ever.

I've gone through various stages of feeling good about our chances to feeling terrible to feeling like I'll be happy with just a couple wins, but I know I won't be.

It just needs to start.

Yup. We were up 1-0 when they decided to take a break and talk to the guys about our previous playoff experience playing against ... wait for it ... Sears! And then I woke up, laughed myself silly about playing the Sears Something (never caught the name), then rolled over and went back to sleep.

Established and dedicated fan bases of all major sport have loyal fans accross the world.... One of the fun things to do is find fans of your team in other cities/nations and watch the games together... good times.

I live in the Charlotte area now. Does anyone know of a game watch at a local sports bar with CBJ ex-pats?
