If true I like it, Rimer is not that bad although he does go off on tangents at times, Davidge is not my favorite but the dude knows college hockey which I like..

As Sam said, they won't be slobbering over Crosby-I'm ok with it..

Also, I'm sure Jody Shelley will be on the sidelines. Love what that guy brings to the broadcast, though Rimer and Davidge sometimes ask him annoying questions.

So the games in Columbus are sold out and the games in Pittsburgh aren't? Man, I hope that's indicative of the games at Nationwide being REAL home games....90-95% CBJ fans.

I put the O/U at 15% Pitt fans, the variable no one can predict is the number of NHL hockey fans living within 100 miles of Columbus that will don the Gold and Black.. If the Jacket fans engage as they did in the last home game yelling C-B-J all will be fine.

Stub hub cheapest ticket for all 16 playoff teams first home game:

ANA $28
BOS $142
CHI $81
COL $53
CBJ $133
DAL $45
DET $40
LA $66
MIN $65
MON $96
NYR $161
PHI $87
PIT $83
SJ $63
STL $60
TAM $39

Third behind huge money markets Boston and New York is very impressive even in light of the rarity of Jackets playoff appearances.
I think it may give a strong indication that the Columbus hockey market still may have some very strong potential.

I took your information and put it in a chart and threw it up in the Stanley Cup forum. I hate outsiders thinking Columbus fans don't care about hockey.

I also hate CBJ fans thinking all the Season Ticketholders are reselling their tickets to Pens fans. CBJ have the fewest number of tickets listed on Stubhub of all the playoff teams. These numbers are for each team's first home game.

If anyone wants to beat the parking hassle for the playoffs, you can buy your parking pass here. http://arenadistrictparking.com/

I got mine for both home games, you can buy them on a game by game basis. It's no deal, you pay the event rate plus a $2 service fee but you're guaranteed a spot for whatever garage you pick.

Think this is a bit of a joke. Was looking forward to not having to listen to Rimer & Davidge for these important games.

I'm with you; was really looking forward to an actual play by play of these games along with competent commentary. Oh well...................:shakehead

I just want the Jackets to at least get to game 6. This is the NHL playoffs... anything can happen. If Bob gets on fire look out. Some people seem to forget that the CBJ have a Vezina winner in goal. Johansen was the NHLs 3rd star of the week last week.

I have no idea what will happen but I do know that the Jackets will bring the forecheck to the Pens and not make it easy on them.

And yeah I hope the Pens fans are kept out of Nationwide.

Or...if you have a good parking area...maybe not tell people so it doesn't become a congested parking area:D

It could go to six but before it goes to six the Jackets must win the first playoff game in their history, there's going to be some pressure to do that regardless of what people and emotions say...

After the first CBJ series win Pitt better look out because the Jackets won’t have anything to worry about, they will be dangerous.

Back in the playoff year I bought game 6 tickets, thinking that would be a very exciting game. :booboo::facepalm: Should have gone for Game 4. Now I'm 1250 miles away but will be glued to the TV.

Established and dedicated fan bases of all major sport have loyal fans accross the world.... One of the fun things to do is find fans of your team in other cities/nations and watch the games together... good times.
