You can say the rangers are tye better team all you want but there about to go 7 games with a team we all know is trash.
I'm taking into account quality of chances, overall control of the puck, and goals across all PO's including last year. my argument isn't that he is doing nothing it is that what he has done is not enough
Nash has never, ever been a big hitter.
He's been involved in a number of chances. He just missed a goal towards the end of the period.
He's been fine so far this series. Could he be better? Sure. But he's certainly not deserving of all this scorn. The worst players, by far, have been Hagelin and Poo this series. Guys who are legitimately hurting the team with poor play.

I'm not saying he is. He'd finish a single check with a resounding thud doesn't mean he was a known hitter who laid the wood. But he'd let guys know he was there and it was noticeable.
I dunno but it seems like you just answered "it's not enough" by saying "it's not enough."
Nash would very, very rarely "finish a . . . check with a resounding thud." That's just not his game.
I KNOW Rick Nash has another gear. When he's playing it safe, and floating into the zone, he isn't effective.
Think about how he played in that Columbus game. He was FLYING out there, dominating everyone, hustling, hitting, FIGHTING (even though we don't want him king this)
Think about the last 30 seconds of the game when he was dominating that shift, looking completely different from the rest of the game.
Is it his fitness? Does he conserve his energy all game to save it for specific bursts when scoring opportunities present themselves?
He is a big dude, but he can be more effective and he HAS to be more effective.

I'm so glad they don't go on Hf in-between periods, we would lose every game we were down because of the crazy post about the sky falling, and how everyone sucks.
I think he HAS been good enough but every single player could always be better. He's created a good amount of our offense.
Stars and Wild in the West could be weaker. Detroit and Columbus could be weaker.
And it's all about match ups. So this isn't a very good statement.
It's all about making the most of your opportunities. They did not do that last period.
