Don't quote me on this, but I think that goal at the end of game 3 was the inspiration that Haggelin and Hayes needed for OT in game 4.

Please, he didn't even make a move or two, and take a nice shot on it. He choked and the coughed the puck into the net, as per usual.

Nash not scoring meaningful goals is a valid concern. However, if he assists on Brassgod's meaningful goals, I won't really care if Nash scores or not.

That being said, if he were to get hot, watch out NHL.

It’s a rebuild.

Was I debating with the OP that the puck entered the net?

Or was I questioning whether the late goal was the momentum the Rangers needed?

If your going to debate me about Nash, could you at least respond to what I said instead of your inner monologue?

I got to make a train. Tonight should be fun!

Not interested in debate really. Just obviously sarcastic responses, I thought that was what we were doing when we discussed Nash's play.

Just for kicks I checked my online sportsbook and there are a bunch of props for this game and they're pretty interesting.

Pens +1.5 @ -200 (Pens unlikely to lose by 2 or more)
NYR -1.5 @ +170 (Rangers unlikely to win by 2 or more)

Pens +160 (Pens expected to lose)
NYR -185 (Rangers big favorites to win)

Pens -1.5 @ +500 (if the Pens win it'll be by 1 goal)
NYR +1.5 @ -650

To give you an idea of this:
Pens by 2 @ +850, by 3 @ +1200, by 4 @ +2000 etc.
NYR by 2 @ +450, by 3 @ +450, by 4 @ +600

ie Rangers unlikely to win by more than 1 but it wouldn't be surprising.

First team to reach 3 goals: Pens +180, NYR @ -110, Neither @ +250

Believe it or not that means the Rangers are even money to score 3 or more despite having done so once in the last 4 games.

Here are the odds of some players to score the 1st goal
Sid +765
Nash +855
Malkin/Honqvist +990/+1170
MSL/Kreider +1260/+1350
Kunitz/Perron/Comeau +1350/+1350/+1440
Step/Brass/Hags/Zuc +1440/1440/+1530/+1530
Bunch of other players (incl Hayes and McD)
...
Field +250

I guess that means Glass scores the 1st goal?

There's also individual player props on scoring a goal. I may bet on Zucc scoring @ +309.

Hank hasn't stole on yet. Make it tonight hankiepoo.

This is kinda the wrong thing to wish for no? Lot's of things wrong with that logic.

Furthermore, Hank has been overall stellar this series. He hasn't needed to 'steal' us the games because we've been so solid defensively. But he has done his part and been what we've needed him to have been every single game.

But tonight, tonight I want it to be about Nash, about Kreids, about Zucc, Hags and Hayes. Hell, even St. Louis. May they be flying out there...

Oh, and tears. I want, nay, I DEMAND, lots and lots of crosby tears...
