I don't see anything happening besides us winning. That being said, I wouldn't really advise being in attendance in Philly after what happened at the WC. I've seen some videos from Devils fans where they got jumped as well. It just doesn't seem like a very safe place for opposing fans to enjoy a game.

They have a well earned reputation in Philly, but there are some real nice folks there. I like how down to earth many of the ladies are.

Forget the batteries - it will be the cheap shots, charging, boarding around and behind our net.
More like assault and battery.
Hartnell's spear job was his playoff warmup.

Very debatable. I think the real x-factor (outside of the obvious(goaltending)) would be the Flyers scoring depth. McDonagh is a fantastic defenseman will get matched up against Giroux. The key for the Flyers is get offense from lines 2-3. The key for the Rangers is stopping the Flyers depth. The Flyers have 7 20 goal scores. So that should be important. I have a hard time not seeing this series go at least 6 games, maybe 7. Should be awesome. :yo:

And the Rangers are the only team with 9 players with 14 or more goals. There's really not THAT MUCH difference offensively. We've been scoring with the best of them lately. Big difference is defense and HUGE disparity in goaltending. All goes well, Rangers in 5. And I'm gonna LOVE EVERY VICTORY!

Losing any member of that line would be bad news. You'd basically have to put Richards with Pouliot and Zucc and hope they can carry him.

What are the odds that that'll happen? And if it does what are the odds that it has some effect?

To go along with your point, our defense core is deeper than most teams if not all. Marc Staal would be a 1st pair on just about any team in the league. This will have a huge effect on the Flyers scoring depth.

That's a problem if he's out.

I'm going to game 4 and I'll be wearing my jersey regardless... As long as you don't act like a complete *******, you don't really have to be worried about anything other than trash talk which is fine.

"Uh oh. Derick Brassard just limped off the ice and went to locker room holding his lower back"

Oh man, hope it's nothing major.

I saw Brassard with a pained look on his face against Montreal. It was early in the 3rd period but I don't think he missed a shift or anything. He was clearly in pain. Did anybody else see it? I watched the CBC coverage so I don't know if Sam or Joe picked up on it. Honestly, I didn't think anything of it.

Maybe this isn't a new issue and that's why Miller was called up before Hartford's season is over with.

And most "in the know" people would say that Strahlman is easily a 2nd pairing if not 1st on some teams. Yeah, I know he plays with Staal, but doesn't NEED to play with a Staal. Point is, he's very unappreciated for what he brings. I always root hard for him, and hate when the haters hate on him. Not everyone is McD. We are very fortunate with our dee. Many teams will want Strahlsy.

Lower back injuries are the ****ing worst. Honestly, the only thing that can really heal them is time.
