Watched the whole thing and thoroughly enjoyed it, thanks!
Most everyone else in the league probably has 2 or 3 wow moments in their CAREER, but none of them match up to all of these beauties.
Even some of the best players in NHL history don't have plays comparable to some of the stuff Mcdavid pulls off routinely. This highlight reel plays like top 10 career highlights of Pavel Bure on steroids, but there is 100 of them rather than 10, and he's only half way through his career so far.

Mcdavid might not finish as the most productive NHLer in history, but I think he easily takes the crown of the most dynamic and exciting player to ever play the game when all is said and done.

I love the comments about the Oilers + Gretz. lol

"And when the Great One does not come through - as happened in the finals - the rest of the OIlers, no matter how good, crumble around him."

"This season they won't even reach the finals"

This was Spector, right?

I'm guessing one of Jones or Matheson wrote this.

Jesus McDavid looks skinny in this video, boy needs to eat a sammich! lol Looks like he weighs 170 pounds. Obviously he doesn't and hockey players carry their weight in their leg, but wow, he really does look tiny here.

It supposedly was written by Stan Fischler

It took longer than they thought, but the campaign to get Gretz and sather out of the “wasteland” of Edmonton was a years long propaganda operation that ultimately worked. Or I guess the fact they ended up in LA and New York was a coinkie dinkie lol

Definitely couldn't have been Spector. This column appears to have been written in the off-season before the 1983-84 season.

Spector was either going into grade 12 or just finished high school. Spector wrote for the Gateway at the U of A in the mid-80s.

The second most amusing thing here besides the Gretzky/Sather flame is how former top prospect Steve Tambellini is being propped up as the potential saviour of the Flames franchise. You could say Steve had a lot of experience disappointing fans by the time he got here.

His flames colours went deep and he sabotaged us!

They needn't have bothered.

Pocklington was his own worst enemy, it would have happened regardless

Doesn’t stop the t.o. media with mcdavid. Good thing he found a local wife/gf, otherwise why stay
They'll never stop until Mcdavid is locked up for the 2nd half of his career.

They turned Stamko's UFA status in a complete circus and he's a 2nd tier star, Mcdavid is rapidly approaching upper tier hockey stardom and I'm fully expecting a Toronto media/fandom meltdown in the final two years of his contract.

McDavid has a good thing here. I do see the appeal of going to Ontario for McDavid but I don't see it as a lock at all. Part of growing up is moving on.

I won't hate on McDavid whatever he decides

He can have that anywhere. At a certain point everything else matters too. I’m sure it’s his childhood dream to play for the leafs. I hope he stays, but if I was him I’d be gone. Especially with the clown show that is the oeg. Or maybe he likes being told how Kevin Lowe woulda shut him down back in the day!!!

Is she from Edmonton? I don't know why, I thought she was from Ontario.
Damn even worse. I’m pretty sure she’s local but dont quote me

McD is the type to want that challenge. I’m sure his buds are in his ear every year.

It all relates. LA kings owner most likely asking media(plea$e write this) to set the table for the infamous pocklington phone call.
