Talks about it at the 2:25 mark

Meanwhile, Canucks explanation:

McDavid seems to have low IQ outside of hockey if he is too stupid to realize something was up with Demko. You might be the smartest hockey player but you are too stupid to figure out why Demko was pulled lol

2022 season:

*McDavid wins his 4th Art Ross trophy, becoming the 6th player in history to win the trophy 4 times or more*

"He's just stat padding and he gets exposed in the playoffs."

2022 playoffs:

*puts up 33 points in 16 games in the 2022 playoffs*

"He got exposed as soon as he played a good team. The Kings and Flames were frauds. His team got swept by the eventual Stanley Cup Champions, proving his fraudness. He only scored 7 points in 4 games in that series."

2023 season:

*puts up 153 points in the 2022/23 season, only the 2nd non-Gretzky-or-Lemieux player to score that many*

"Stat padding. He'll get exposed in the playoffs."

2023 playoffs:

*puts up 20 points in 12 games in the 2023 playoffs*

"He got exposed as soon as he played a good team. The Kings were frauds again. His team lost in 6 games against the eventual Stanley Cup Champions, proving his fraudness. He only scored 10 points in 6 games in that series."

2024 season:

<---- We're here. My prediction is that regardless of how he does in the regular season and the playoffs, the pattern will repeat itself.

That was actually a fairly respectable move, let the guy have his moment and say he played in an NHL game. Terrible comparison
Not a terrible comparison at all. Pulling a goalie who just threw up in his mask is a pretty respectable thing as well.

You managed to miss the point completely.

Demko was sick the whole day and puke in his mask prior to getting pulled. Oilers 2 stars whining when stuff don’t go their ways

i am kind of surprised at mcdavid's lack of situational awareness. canucks put out pp1 when it was 6-1 because in a 6-1 game draisaitl was taking cheap shots. draisaitl's message was received and answered.

a great player and captain should maybe notice that and stfu about it, or if he missed it ask a teammate or coach what happened before he comments. just as he should notice or be told by the coaching staff if the goalie he is facing is not 100% given people on twitter noted it.

As an oil fan.. I was hoping the Nucks PP1 would get to at least ten.

Holland was watching and he must know our D and G are well below what a Stanley Cup contender (yes I think we are one) should be.

I've seen Connor go out for PP1 in blow-out games late in season; not sure what the complaint is here. It's early in the season and teams are still trying to iron out their specialty teams.

No one complained about him padding stats but they are complaining about him complaining why the other team is playing their regular PP when the Foilers let in 6 already lol. You mentioned how McDavid is consistently great at putting up points but forgot to mention his consistent crying and whining to the media when things don't go his way. Even Crosby was not as bad as him crying yet he got the nickname Crysby or Cindy. McDavid is getting it easy from NHL fans when it comes to his whining. Same as Drai and his pissy mood and mood swings like he is on his period everytime.

What does this mean?

Oilers' patchy defence and goaltending being kept afloat by firewagon offence is a known issue but they're still CONTENDERS?

I'd say they are playoff locks but to believe they are anywhere near consistently reaching say, conference finalists, is a homer stretch.

Also the thread title needs to be changed. McDavid didn't bring up the first question himself, even if he may have agreed with the premise of the reporter.

Canucks could have easily made it 10-1 if they had started their number 1 PP for the last 3 penalties. They put in their mercy PP unit which didn't score yet the score still ended up 8-1. The fact that they didn't want to run it up and still ending up as 8-1 must have really done some damage McDavids ego on how his team is a cup winner already lol 😆

Dude was answering the questions being asked, I'm sure he's pissed off, give the guy a break he's a human being. lol he was as good as anyone would be in that spot answering those kinds of questions from reporters after a blowout. Although he's better than everyone at hockey, he's still a human being just like you and I lol.

Connor should be more concerned about his right hand man Draisaitl too busy spearing guys in the testicles when things don't go their way.

Well that was probably in response to McDavid whining about how Vancouver was trying to run up the score.

Demko has the flu and the Oilers still couldn't score more than 1 goal on him
They could not even score on DeSmith lol

Ah yes the German princess was on one of his monthly periods which came on early.

If I was a player I'd definitely download the video and keep it for when McDavid is on a 4 point game and the other team only scored 1 or 2 points.

It is one game. I hope Demko feels better and it's kinda funny to think a couple weeks ago THAT 11-1 pre season game happened against them.
11-1 preseason game?? When was that because it surely wasn't this year lol. People love to magnify that 10-0 loss to the Flames when Canucks were playing their ECHL roster full of AHLers, scrubs and 7th string goalie to the point where they even add to the score like 11-1 or 20-0.

After the hullaballoo from Covid, if Demko is that sick why the f*** was he playing?
Because he isn't a whiny princess like McDavid?? He is a real man
